Today Year 6 took part in a live Remembrance Assembly hosted by the National Literacy Trust.
The assembly was hosted live and included special guests such as historian and author Iszi Lawrence, artist Cornelia Parker and Major Naveed Muhammad.
We listened to music played and sung by various school choirs, listened to poetry and observed a two minute silence.
We really enjoyed taking the time to reflect on remembrance day and think about the sacrifices made by millions of people in the first world war and other conflicts since.
