This week was Anti-Bullying Week across school. Year 6 have worked all week on various tasks surrounding this year’s anti-bullying message ‘One Kind Word’. We looked at lots of message about kindness and designed kindness cards for Year 2 to spread the message. Some of our quotes included: In a world where you can be anything- Be kind, Kindness is free, sprinkle it everywhere and Kindness is a gift everyone can afford.
We then looked at what bullying is and the different forms of bullying. We were faced with a variety of different situations and asked what type of bullying it was and what the victim might have been feeling as well as thinking about advice we would have given the person.
We ended the week writing an Anti-Bullying acrostic poem spreading the message ‘One kind Word’
