This week the children in Year 5 represented Corpus Christi at a cheerleading and gymnastics festival at Gateshead Leisure Centre. Despite only having one week to learn and practice the routine, they executed it perfectly and with fantastic enthusiasm. Everyone in the hall loved our performance and the children were invited to perform it again and close the show! The organiser of the show also commented on how well our children cheered on and supported every other school when it was their turn. We are very proud of the children in Year 5 – a HUGE well done!
