The children in Year 2 have been learning how to write recipes. They know they must start with a list of ingredients and then complete a ‘What to do’ section. They have all tried hard to use numbered steps, time connectives and bossy verbs. They all helped make (and taste) a fruit smoothie. All of the children thoroughly enjoyed this activity and this was reflected afterwards in their fantastic recipe writing. If anyone needs a recipe for a fruit smoothie, come see the experts in Year 2!
