This half term the children have been writing letters. The children wrote special Christmas letters to their families in class. They tried really hard to show off their best handwriting and use exclamation marks and questions marks in their writing. They also wrote their full addresses clearly on envelopes, paying particular attention to their postcodes. The next day we were lucky enough to visit the Royal Mail sorting office on the Team Valley. We put first class stamps on our letters and put them in a large machine ready to be sorted. We enjoyed seeing the journey our letter would go on. The children even sang a range of Christmas Carols to the post office workers as a reward for all of their hard work at this time of year.
