4th January Message to Parents

Dear Parents/Carers

I would like to update you on our current position, with regards to opening our school.

After careful consideration, our Governors have decided that we will open our school, on Tuesday 5th January, as originally planned.  Our Breakfast Club will continue to be open to those keyworker families who were using it previously.

In order to do this, we will need to strengthen some of the safety measures we have in place:

  1. Parents/Carers must socially distance outside the school gates by queuing along the street. There will be markers in place to guide you.
  2. Only one adult must drop off or collect children at their given time.
  3. Children must only be dropped off and collected by their parent/carer or another allocated adult in their childcare bubble.
  4. Unless exempt, parents and carers must wear a face covering while queuing and during drop off and collection.

It is essential that these measures are followed in order to keep our school open.

However, please be aware that as a result of a constantly changing situation, we will be reviewing this decision on a daily basis.

Thank you for your cooperation and support in keeping our whole school community safe.

Mrs C Maxwell

Head Teacher
