In school today we spent time reflecting on remembrance day and thinking about the symbolism behind the poppy. We held a class liturgy which gave us some quiet prayer time and also wrote  acrostic Poems using the word remember.

During half term the children were asked to create their own dream jar taking inspiration from the BFG. We had some fantastic examples. Well done Year 5!

Some children in Year 5 have been practising their riding skills this half term and getting out on the roads. They have been learning how to stay safe when cycling as well as improving their cycling skills.
