In March Year 6 were visited by some representatives of Barclays Bank. Firstly, we shared our ideas of what we enjoy spending our money on; before suggesting things that our parents have to spend money on. Unsurprisingly there was quite a difference in the results. Next we ranked cards in order of things we need the most to things we want the most. We are starting to understand that things we have to spend money on are not always the things that we would like to. There was an opportunity to find out about working in a bank by asking questions. Finally we played a game which helped to improve our budgeting skills.
