Beamish

Last week Year 2 visited Beamish as part of their history topic – transport from the past.  The children enjoyed seeing the trams, old buses and the penny farthing. Their favourite part of the day was going down the mine.  They also enjoyed exploring life in the past and visiting the sweet shop, bakery, coop, chemist and most importantly the gift shop! They really enjoyed the school and were horrified at the thought of being caned!


Year 3 Visit Arbeia

Behind the scenes at the BBC

Last week some children from Year 4 and 5 went for a behind the scenes looked at what goes on at the BBC in Newcastle. Rocking and Reflection at the Primary Festival!

Year 6 attended the Primary festival  at Emmaus Youth Village at Allensford. They sang, danced, made lots of new friends that they may well meet again in Secondary school and also spent some time in quiet reflection.
